How Mzuri works

Mzuri connects buyers and sellers of phones and tablets across Kenya. We are a listing platform, so you deal directly with the other person. Here is what to expect on each side.

For buyers

Find a device and contact the seller

  1. 1

    Search and filter

Browse listings by brand, device type, condition, county, and price in KES. Use search to find a specific model like an iPhone 13 or Galaxy Tab.

  2. 2

    Contact the seller

Found something you like? Reach the seller directly through WhatsApp or a phone call. Mzuri does not sit between you, so you talk to the owner straight away.

  3. 3

    Meet and inspect

Agree a safe, public meeting place. Inspect and test the device, check the IMEI, and only pay once you are happy. Mzuri does not handle payments or delivery.

For sellers

List your device and reach buyers fast

  1. 1

    Create an account

Register with your name, email, phone number, and county. It takes a moment and lets buyers reach you.

  2. 2

    Post a free listing

Add clear photos, the brand, model, condition, and your asking price in KES. Most listings take under two minutes to publish, and posting is completely free.

  3. 3

    Get contacted

Interested buyers contact you directly by WhatsApp or phone. Reply quickly and arrange a safe place to meet.

  4. 4

    Mark as sold

Once the deal is done, mark your listing as sold so buyers know it is no longer available. You can manage all your listings from your profile.

Listings expire after 30 days

To keep the marketplace fresh and prices current, every listing automatically expires 30 days after it is posted. If your device has not sold, you can simply post it again.
