Google Pixel Phones for Sale in Kenya

Google Pixels are not sold officially in Kenya, so almost every one here is an import, usually ex US or ex UK. They are bought for the camera and for clean Android with fast updates, and they hold their value reasonably well because supply is limited. Two things are worth checking before you pay. Many American Pixels are carrier locked, which is the single most common problem with imported ones, so confirm it works with a Safaricom line before money changes hands. And check the IMEI, since an imported phone reported lost abroad can still be blocked.

What to check before buying a Google Pixel
The things that catch people out on this brand specifically, and the questions worth asking any seller.
Carrier lock is the main risk with an imported Pixel
Pixels are not sold officially in Kenya, so nearly all of them are imports. American ones in particular are often locked to the carrier that sold them, and a locked Pixel will not take a Safaricom line. Put your own SIM in and make a call before any money changes hands. This is the single most common problem with imported Pixels.
Check the IMEI is clean internationally
An imported phone reported lost or stolen abroad can be blocked here. Dial *#06# for the IMEI, text it to 1555, and treat an unusually low price on a recent Pixel as a reason to check harder rather than to move faster.
Updates are the reason to buy one
Pixels get Android updates first and for longer than almost anything else, which is what makes an older one still worth having. Check the model, since support windows differ sharply between the A series and the Pro models.
Battery is the usual weak point
Pixels are known for the camera and less so for battery life, and a used one may already be some way through its lifespan. Ask what a normal day looks like on a charge, and factor a replacement into the price on anything more than two years old.
How much does a Google Pixel cost in Kenya?
Prices depend on the model and condition. Older A series Pixels are the affordable way in, while the current Pro models cost the most. Browse the listings above to see current asking prices in KES from sellers across Kenya.
Are these Google Pixel listings new or second hand?
Both. Sellers on Mzuri list new, ex-UK and used Google Pixel devices, and every listing shows the condition (New, Like New, Good or Fair) so you can pick what fits your budget.
